First SailUI prototype

Our first working SailUI prototype, which combines our UI and the browser renderer in one package. Under the hood we utilize Out-of-Process iframes with first party changes which allow us to render websites directly in our UI, style the web container with CSS, support existing Chrome extensions, and still be protected by the Chromium sandbox security model.

This prototype successfully ends our research phase and we will move onto building out all requirements of the browser and transitioning Sail to be powered by SailUI. We hope to ship Sail with SailUI by the end of the year.
